Quest for Valor
Quest for Valor is a 3rd Person Action Adventure RPG created in the Unreal 4 Engine.
The Level, Jupiter's Bane, features a variety of combat challenges and puzzles that the player must overcome. The player controls Juno on her mission to save her friend Jupiter from the clutches of the Skeleton King. The level has several platforming challenges, and a final boss fight, which has been created through Blueprint Scripting.
This level also contains two cinematic events, made with Matinee, where the player can view the challenges ahead of them.
Responsibilities:
• Created 2D Paper Plan of the level
• Created Flowchart and Beat Chart to gauge the flow and difficulty of the level
• Balanced and Tuned the level
• Created engaging enemy encounters
• Implemented all art assets
• Used a Modular Kit to build the levels
• Used visual Scripting using Unreal Engine 4 Blueprint
• Designed and Scripted the Boss fight
• Implemented the lighting, and set dressing in the environment
